We’re officially announcing our Let’s Get America Vegucated Autumn 2011 tour!
From NYC to Texas to the beautiful Bay Area in California, we’ll be traveling sea to shining sea this fall, spreading the good gospel about plant-based living. Tickets are now on sale for the first few stops on our tour. Hope you can join us for these, and be on the lookout for more!
Vegucated was conceived and crafted here in NYC so we’re especially excited to share it with the many, many great folks who are part of the film. Get out your fancy wear, stroll over and join us for this very special event, with a red carpet reception before and special after party afterward hosted by GirlieGirl Army.
We’re so honored to have our film selected for a film festival in the Show Me state whose mission is to inspire individuals and communities toward collective action against social injustice. Located 35 miles outside of suburban Kansas City, this festival brings an impressive roster of international films on global issues to the Heartland.
We’re delighted to have our Lone Star State premiere in association with the Texas State Veggie Fair. After the screening and Q&A with the director, we will be off to dance at Mercy for Animals’ Official Texas State Veggie Fair Kick-Off Party and sample some fantastic fried foods at the veggie fair on Sunday. Grab those fried yummies before moseying over to Marisa’s lecture, Get Vegucated: How to Start Eating & Living Healthy NOW.
In true Berkeley style, we’ll be premiering in a certified green space just around the corner from Cinnaholic Bakery and the footsteps of UC Berkeley! BIG thanks to Karine Brighten Events for producing our California premieres. After the screening and Q&A with the director, premiere + reception ticket holders will enjoy a dessert reception with the director.
For our second West Coast stop, we’ll bop across the bay to the Mission District. After the screening and Q&A with film star Brian Flegel & the director, our deluxe ticket holders will enjoy a very special dessert reception. The reception will be nearby at VegNews HQ on their rooftop!
