Top us with some tomato, lettuce, and Vegenaise because we are on a roll! Shortly after finding out we got into the American Conservation Film Festival, we were notified that Vegucated was also selected for the Montana CINE International Film Festival, to be premiered sometime between October 17th and 23rd in Missoula, Montana.
We wonder, did the selection committee notice that we name-dropped Missoula in the film as one of the many U.S. cities that have vegetarian restaurants? Or that our film features a Montana native, former cattle rancher-turned-vegan-activist Howard Lyman? Or did they just notice that we had gotten into seven other film festivals that have doing good in the world as their main mission?
CINE’s do-gooder mission is to ”promote awareness, knowledge and understanding of wildlife, habitat, people and nature through excellence in film, television and other media.” Right on, Montana! Right on.
