Come intern with us in our Manhattan office!
We’re seeking a writing/coaching/community support intern to help us with exciting new web content and e-newsletters for our regular Vegucated Challenges, plus help manage the forthcoming Community portion of the website. This position is a great opportunity to support people in the process of going vegan, to learn more in-depth about vegan-related issues, to hone writing skills, connect with leaders in the vegan movement in NYC and beyond, plus gain technical know-how.
The ideal candidate:
*has very strong people skills and writing skills
*has extensive knowledge of vegan resources and key players in the vegan movement
*has experience with WordPress (preferred but not absolutely necessary)
*can work 8-16 hours per week
*can work from our NYC office 1-2 days per week (preferred but not absolutely necessary–can work remotely from out of NYC if need be)
*can commit to the internship for 3 months
