It’s winter where we are, but Vegucated is going bikini shopping. Why, you ask? Because we have been selected to take part in the Third Annual Internacional Film Festival for the Animals, a revolutionary 2-day film festival that runs from November 15th to November 16th in “green” city of Curitiba, Brazil!
Since 2009, the prestigious Festival – organized by the Brazilian Vegetarian Society (SVB), Curitiba Group – consists of two days of exhibitions of movies about animal-human relationships.
The Festival is free and open to the public, and lucky festival honorees receive an “Oscow,” the Festival’s version of an Oscar with a bovine twist! Thanks to our Portuguese subtitles provided by Captions, Inc., thousands of attendees will get to relate to the journeys of our three meat- and cheese-loving New Yorkers as they transition to a vegan lifestyle.
We’re so excited and thankful to be selected as part of this innovative Festival in a beautiful country making so many fantastic ecological strides. If you’re in the area, samba on over and check out the fantastic line-up!
Vegucated will be airing on Thursday, November 15th at 19:30 (7:30 pm local time).
