We’re thrilled that all nine Whole Foods Philadelphia stores are sponsoring the Philadelphia premiere of our film as part of a fun night of food and film this Thursday, March 1st at the Hiway Theatre in Jenkintown.
Starting at 5:30, VIP ticket holders will have a chance to meet and chat with the filmmakers before the film and will receive a special dinner provided by Whole Foods, based on their the pillars of the “Health Starts Here” program. Vegan, gluten-free desserts will be provided by Dia Doce Cupcakes. VIP tickets can be purchased here.
Regular premiere ticket holders will attend the film screening itself at 6:30 and the Q&A after the film with with writer-director Marisa Miller Wolfson and Dr. Ana M. Negron, a Philadelphia area practitioner who over the past thirty years of extensive experience has served minority communities and taught medical students and residents. She currently volunteers her medical services at a free clinic for the uninsured. In early 2003 Negrón founded Greens on a Budget, a hands-on program for patients, professionals, and people in the community where she transforms an abundance of whole foods into delicious, simple, and nourishing medicine. Regular premiere tickets can be purchased here.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the non-profit HiWay Theatre.
