You might have heard us mumbling about wanting to write a cookbook for parents of vegan babies, toddlers, and little kids. Well, we got a book deal, and we’re looking for recipe testers!
It’s Vegucated writer/director Marisa Miller Wolfson here. Right before my daughter was born I hired childcare provider/chef Laura Delhauer to help with the kids and soon saw that she was great at inventing recipes that even my picky 3-year-old loved. We turned my kitchen into a test kitchen for the book and solicited recipes from other families with babies and young vegan children. In order for this book to be the best it can be, we’re looking for people to test out the recipes and give feedback on the process and the result. Testers can try out one recipe or 20 recipes–it’s up to you! You do not have to be a whiz in the kitchen to do this. This book is for everyone–inexperienced chefs and experts alike!
If you are interested and have a vegan child (or children) ages 0-7, please email me at marisa[at]getvegucated[dot] com with the subject line “recipe tester” and let us know how old your kids are and if they have any allergies or intolerances. We’ll be sure to avoid recipes with those ingredients.
We would be ever so grateful for the help and will thank you in the acknowledgments of the book. Who knows–you may stumble upon a new family favorite!
