    Guess what: PB&J is vegan!!! Doing a happy dance? So did we!

    Is your brain a little fried from all this vegan knowledge? Today, let’s just keep it simple. Make a sandwich for lunch. Just skip the meat and dairy cheese.

    You can always go for the American staple, pb&j, or a little almond butter and sliced banana on whole wheat. For a lower calorie option, try smearing hummus on a slice of toasted whole wheat bread, topped with sliced cucumbers, sprouts and tomato.

    If you just can’t find the time to pack lunch, remember to still have some vegan snacks on hand. Bring celery, carrots, hummus or almond butter and an apple or orange to help you get through the day. Raw nuts are also always mmm mmm good and heart healthy to boot!
